Entities
Entities module refers to the organizational structure of the company—such as headquarters, branches, departments, and subdivisions. Users can create both aggregate (synthetic, parent-level) and input(analytical, detailed-level) entities and associate them with cost centers or financial flows
Access the Entities page
Navigate to
Cash Flow Settings > Entities
Here, you can :

Add new entities

Define the structure code
-
Enter an entity code
-
Provide a name for the entity
-
Set entity level: Aggregate (Synthetic) or Input (Analytical)

Link entities to a cost center and/or financial classification
Add a new entity

Access the Entities page.

Complete the fields:

Structure: This field determines the hierarchical location of the entity within the organization. You may change the default if desired.

Key : A unique identifier
-
Name : Name of the entity.

Level choose between:
-
Aggregate (Synthetic): Higher-level or parent entity (divisions or regions) that can have other entities (aggregate or input) under it.

Input (Analytical): Lower-level or detailed entity that must be linked to a cost center and/or financial classification.

Cost Center linking:
-
Associates the entity with a specific cost center.
-
Helps allocate costs correctly during financial analysis or reporting.
-
Required when setting the entity as an Input (Analytical) entity .

Financial Flow linking
-
Links the entity to a financial flow classification.
-
Provides categorization for budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes.

Also mandatory for Input (Analytical) level entities to ensure accurate financial mapping.

Delete entities
You can remove individual entities or delete all entities from the Entities list. Use caution when performing deletions, especially bulk removals.
Delete a single entity

Navigate to the Entities page.

Locate the entity you want to remove:

Click the entity on the table, or
-
Use the search bar to quickly find the entity by name or code.
The Edit page is displayed showing the entity you selected.

On the Edit page, click

Confirm your action to remove the entity from the list.
Delete all entities
Caution: This action is irreversible and will permanently delete all configured entities.

On the Entities page, click

Confirm your action.
Import entities
Cash Management also offers an Import option for mass data handling.
Users can export an editable XLSX template, input entity information directly into the spreadsheet, and re-import it back into the system.

. The Entity import page appears. -
Click in the Download the entity template file panel to download the template.

Fill in the required data in the spreadsheet.

Return to the same page and click in the Import or drag completed template panel.

Navigate to the completed template on your computer.

Click
to upload the completed template.
