Compare positions

Use the Compare Positions page to analyze cash flow variations between two saved snapshots or between a snapshot and the current position. This helps you understand changes in projections, deviations from plans, and differences in transactions.

Access the Compare positions page

Navigate to Cash flow > Compare positions

The Compare positions page displays:

Balance chart

  • View a monthly calendar chart that shows the balance trend for both positions.

  • Select a specific period directly from the chart to compare.

Comparison table – Daily view

This view shows the key differences between the two positions being compared.

Displays a 30-day breakdown including:

  • Beginning Balance

  • Banks and Cashiers

  • Financial Classifications

  • Final Balance

Compare daily variations

Use the Compare daily variations option to view:

  • Position 1

  • Position 2

  • Variation in real values

  • Percentage change

Comparison table – Monthly view

Shows cash flow by month for the selected year.

Use the Compare monthly variation option to view:

  • Position 1 values

  • Variation in currency

  • Percentage change

  • Position 2 values

Advanced (right-click) options

Further comparisons can be made using the following advanced options accessible by right-clicking on certain parts of the user interface,

Compare day

  1. Right-click on a day column header.

  2. Select Compare day. A detailed view of the selected day is displayed, showing:

    • Total for Position 1

    • Total for Position 2

    • Real and percentage variation

  3. Use right-click options to reload, zoom, maximize, and export.

Show comparisons

Opens the supporting documents for each classification, allowing validation and audit.

  1. Right-click on a financial classification (operating, financing, etc) row in the table body.

  2. Select Show comparisons.

Compare classification

Displays a view of the detailed changes for a selected financial classification between the two positions.

  1. Right-click on a financial classification (operating, financing, etc) row in the table body.
